Good communication is paramount to good schools. Three handbooks are needed; two for employees and one for families and students.
All programs, with policies, procedures and budgets, are published.
This has other useful information employees need, such as informal understandings and orientation information for new employees (a map of facilities, where to shop, and tourist attractions).
Families & students
Families appreciate information such as curriculum coverage, class times, opportunities to support the school, and codes of conduct and dress.
